The basics
Show Up is a service of Wildboxapps LLC ("we"). By creating an account you agree to these terms, the privacy policy and the community guidelines. You must be 18 or older.
What Show Up is
Show Up is a directory and RSVP tool for gatherings organized by independent hosts. We don't organize, supervise or control gatherings, and hosts are not our employees or agents. We verify hosts' identities with a selfie check, but we can't vouch for anyone's conduct.
Assumption of risk and release
Gatherings happen in the real world and some carry inherent risks, including activities like running, hiking and water sports. You freely choose to attend and assume those risks. To the fullest extent Florida law allows, you release Wildboxapps LLC, its owners and its hosts from claims arising from your attendance, including claims based on negligence. This release does not cover intentional misconduct or gross negligence. Hosts of higher-risk activities may require a separate waiver.
Your account
- One account per person, with a real first name and a photo of you.
- You're responsible for what you do at gatherings and in the app.
- We may suspend or remove accounts that break the community guidelines, immediately for safety reports pending review.
Hosting
Hosts list groups free. Hosts agree to meet only at public venues, keep schedules accurate, and follow venue rules and local law. Hosts are responsible for their own permits, waivers and insurance where their activity requires them.
Host Pro
Host Pro is an optional subscription billed through Apple. It renews until cancelled in your Apple subscription settings. Founding Host is a one-time purchase. Refunds follow Apple's policies.
Content
You own what you post. You give us a license to show it inside Show Up so the service works. Don't post anything you don't have the right to share.
Disclaimers and limits
Show Up is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the past twelve months, or $100 if you paid nothing.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Disputes are handled in the state or federal courts in Orange County, Florida.
